     I was born and raised in Las Vegas NM and came from a large family (four brothers). I now am raising a big family myself, four girls and one boy who one day will hopefully continue the family business. I have been in the construction industry for almost 20 years. I was sixteen years old when I had the opportunity to do construction. My father did not have very much money and our house needed a new roof. The contractor gave my father a price quote he asked if he threw in his son as a labor if he can get a better price. The contractor agreed and I helped him re-frame and propanel our roof. I knew nothing about construction, but I took a liking to it and decided then and there that was what I wanted to do. I attended two years of college after high school all while working construction on the side. I worked in Las Vegas for about three years with my uncle and local contractors. Work was slow, I then decided to work in Santa Fe, my first job there was with a tile setter for about a year. I then worked as a framer for a year. All along the way I quickly picked up everything I was taught. I then took a job with Babcock Construction in Santa Fe where I had the opportunity to build multi-million dollar homes and many luxurious homes of all sizes under the tudalage of David Babcock. I quickly learned all aspects of the construction industry. I learned how to build rastra, and adobe houses, make hand crafted doors, cabinets and furniture. Install hardwood flooring. Along the way a lot was learned from everyone I had the opportunity to work alongside. At that point I felt it was time to start my own business. Upon obtaining my contractor’s license I felt a strong need for it to become a family orientated business. We have employed many family members in various aspects and projects throughout. I plan to pass the knowledge down to my children who will one day take over the family business. While working on high value homes it gave me the opportunity to build homes ranging from ninety dollars a square foot to three hundred dollars a square foot and have been able to provide the same workmanship no matter the cost. We treat every home as though we are building it for ourselves. 

     We offer custom green built homes; we strongly believe that state laws will change significantly in the future as for homes to comply with HEERS ratings. We offer zero energy homes and our homes come with these energy efficient items, forty-eight inches of two inch ridged foam on monolithic slabs, blown in cellulose insulation R-22 walls R-40 ceilings, ridge and soffit venting, heat and air ducts are all run underneath ceiling insulation in conditioned space to create no heating and cooling loss, ninety percent efficient water heaters, ninety percent efficient heating and cooling units, energy star windows and appliances are highly recommended.
